Who Left The Box Unlocked?

There’s some murmuring in the blogosphere and in political circles that Al Gore will end up being the Democrat nominee. This is just one of those general murmurs, but if you Google a bit you will find others.
I voted for Gore against Bush back in the day and I am still thanking the Lord that he lost. I simply cannot imagine how badly he would have handled things after 9/11, but I do know that if he followed in Bill Clinton’s footsteps the extent of his response would have been slamming a cruise missile up a asprin factory and little else.
Some people no doubt would have preferred that, but it’s half-assed actions like that and in Mogadishu, that gave Bin Laden the nerve to carry out the 9/11 attacks in the first place.
At any rate, I could see this happening. Obama is damaged goods. Hillary is damaged goods. And while Gore was damaged goods, his reputation is absolutely sterling when compared to those two, plus he’s a Nobel Prize winner now - insert laugh here - so he has that going for him. There’s also that whole stolen-election nonsense that many on the left would love to re-visit.
Stranger things have happened folks, and with a big admission that I am anything but a political expert, I see him being a bigger threat to McCain than those other two combined.
Just when you thought it was safe Al breaks out of the lockbox.
