Concerned with high gas prices? Think that is an major issue in the coming election? Well, then you have an easy choice. If you want higher gas prices vote Democrat because liberals want them to do even higher. In fact, the high liberal himself, Barry Obama, doesn’t see anything wrong with high gasoline prices. In fact, he would like to see them even higher and you can see from the video above.
Now, if you want lower gasoline prices, McCain is your man. Yes, he has been kind of wishy-washy on this issue, but he seems to be coming around to the right (pun intended) way of thinking which is to drill for oil here in the USA and start building new nuclear power plants. Yes, this won’t help overnight. We are going to have to suffer for a while due to the Democrats blocking of drilling and nuclear power. (Clinton blocked ANWR drilling in 1996 which has no doubt added to higher gasoline prices today.)
So the choice is clear on this issue. You want higher gasoline prices – vote for Obama and the rest of the Democrats. You want even the chance at lower prices – vote McCain and Republican.

I finally decided to write a comment on your blog. I just wanted to say good job. I really enjoy reading your posts.
I am not sure if it is as easy as you say. Vote for this guy and gas prices go down and this guy, gas prices go up. This site, GasBankUSA, talks about locking in a fixed price for gasoline. The site is at http://www.gasbankusa.com. I’d say this is more guaranteed than voting for one candidate or another and thinking gas prices will change.
Well, perhaps I did simplify it, but not that much. The fact is the Democrats have consistency blocked any attempt to drill for oil here in our own country, to build new refineries and to build nuclear power plants. That is a fact and easily provable. The Republicans historically have been on the other side – for drilling and nuclear power – and McCain is slowly moving that way simply because of the high gas prices (and the drain on the economy they cause) are forcing him to do so.
So I don’t think I am too far off the mark – simplification-wise – when I say if you vote for Obama you will not have any drilling any time soon, nor will you have any new refineries or nuclear power plants. You WILL have movements to climate change green technology that is unproven and probably not even needed and which will put a drain on our economy. With McCain you at least have a chance for a common-sense approach that includes both new green technology AND drilling and nuclear power.
Here’s the bottem line, The Democrats have had 55 years to fix or change things. They have choose not to. Soo why do we leave them in Power. We do need a change, but it’s from the Democrats.
