1. Obama finally quits the racist, anti-American Trinity United Church of Christ. Funny that. Seems the only change he knows is changing his tune for political purposes. And the only hope is that he hopes this helps him get past the fact that he attended this church for 20 years and called these two preachers – Wright and Pfleger – his friends and mentors. Mark Levin says it well, “Obama left his church, but his church hasn’t left him? By that I mean that Obama’s church has not changed. Obama’s political objectives have changed.”
2. Question: Where’s that recession again? Answer: Only in the minds of liberals.
3. Just one way Obama plans on raising taxes. There will be many others.
4. The Democratic National Convention made a decision on Michigan and Florida this weekend, but I’m not sure it helped much. It certainly didn’t please Hillary supporters. Err, I mean future McCain supporters. Check out this video I couldn’t embed. “Two winners is 40 years.”

I may be wrong. I am occasionally. But I really think the Dems are self-destructing. As I said, if even a small percentage of these Hillary folks defect to McCain or just plain sit out the election, Obama is doomed. Doomed I tell you. Doomed.
5. You’re not hearing about it much anymore, but the Iraq War is still going on and we seem to be winning it. Winning it. Could that be why you don’t hear much about it anymore?

Nice post.
(1) Too much, too little, too late for Obama.
(2) We are not in a recession. The unemployement rate is approximately where it was during the Clinton administration (5%. However, very high double-digit inflation of gas and food prices are real issues for most Americans and are hurting/slowing down the economy.
(3)All democrats love to raise taxes. Republicans cut taxes. Both parties increase spending, including wasteful pork.
(4) Hillary will take her argument of gaining more popular votes than Obama to the democrat national convention and perhaps behond with a court appeal.
(5)The media elite (almost all liberal) refuses to publish good news from Iraq for the most part.
