The Definition Of Surreal

Fins, Russians, and Skynyrd. It simply doesn’t get better than this.

Actually, I vaguely remember Skynyrd looking like this when I saw them in concert a little over three decades ago, but it was probably just something I smoked.

Hat-tip to To The Point News.

Brunette Of The Week

Posted by TRO on March 19, 2008

So, like, Ace had this big post titled “Blogging While Female” which generated a lot of discussion and at least two follow-up posts, but which I never fully understood because I got into it late and couldn’t figure out much about it except that it was about the objectification of female bloggers and had this really nice photo of a brunette.

I don’t know who it is - one of the gal bloggers or just a model - but she is certainly Brunette of the Week material.

Dancing Shoes

Obama gave a big speech yesterday explaining his relationship with the racist, anti-American Reverend Jeremiah Wright.  To sum up, it was crap wrapped in a nice gift-box and sprayed with a ton of cologne.  He took no responsibility for adopting this creepy preacher as his mentor, instead blaming the whole episode on everyone else for having the nerve to even notice.

He tap-danced around the issue of his attending a hate-filled, racist, anti-American church for 20 some-odd years (along with his wife and two impressionable young children), and unfortunately the main stream media and Obama supporters are more than willing to throw a ton of change into his hat for the show.

I’m with  John Derbyshire of The Corner who said, “I actually like Jeremiah Wright better than I like Obama. At least you know where you are with Wright. Obama, I wouldn’t trust to mail a letter.”
